Stool Transformation

About 3 months ago, Traci and I found a "Princess" stool at the good-will store. We bought it for $10.00, a leg was wobbling and basicly this was a big new project to take on! We sanded it, spray painted, sewed, added a pillow for a cushion, fixed the leg. This was the most fun thing Traci and I did! It took a while because there was much to be done. I loved using the staple gun! Dont worry, Aunt Traci showed me the safety percautions first. After everything was done, we spent $15 on a beautiful stool that now looks like something from PB Teen for $80!

Here is the finall product, in my room!! Can you believe the transformation? I loved this project and it was a great bonding experience for us. :D Now, it is black and white poko dot, comfy, has white legs (none broken), and is everything I hoped it would be and better. This stool now sits in my room and is used quite offen! Actually, funny story. My mom and dad got me black and white poko dot cork boards for Christmas and they match the stool perfectly! As you can guess I am doing a black and white theme. Well, I hope you are as happy with the new stool as I am! Thanks for reading!! - A

  1. Alexandra, awesome job maybe in addition to writing you might consider interior design. I am excited to follow your progress on future projects.

  4. I think the only person that had more fun than you was me. It is absolutely divine to have someone to thrift and create with.
