A new project

It is now 19 days until Christmas. So i have to start thinking of presents. Traci and I decided to make something for my mom for Christmas. I cant say what it is because she reads my blog but that isnt exactly what i wanted to talk about. People always say, "Its better to make something then to buy." I believe that. But it isnt exactly true. If you make something or buy something there is a difference, but the thought and love that went into the present is what really counts. So yes i am making something for my mom for Christmas. But its from the heart. And that, is why she will love it.

A year older

As you may have noticed, my title, "The life of a 12 year old girl" was just changed to "13". My birthday just passed and now i am officially a teenager. People kept telling me , "You wont feel any different." and they were right. Because being a year older isn't what makes you older. Its you that decides when your a certain age. Being wise doesn't come from having a birthday, it comes from the heart. So the next time you have a birthday, you decide what "age" you are.

Animals

Cats, dogs, fish, hamsters. They're all animals. Maybe your more of the dog lover and not a big fan of cats. Or maybe its the opposite. I love animals. Even if its a pig or goat, haha, i love `em! :) I have one dog, Bentley, and i love to hug him and cuddle with him but he would rather go play. Sometimes that challenges me, but I've come to learn that i must respect his free-will and wishes. When i was at the fair with my friend, Jamie, we go to pet goats and cows. How they lick your hands and come against you. Animals are wonderful, smart, beautiful creatures. My love for animals will never end.

A.M.P.S :)

AMPS is my family's electic gem car. A gem car looks like a golf cart but slightly bigger and street-legal. My dad thought to call it amps because Alexandra Monique Paul, all our enitials. :) My parents let me drive it around the neighborhood which is a lot of fun! And when my brother, Kohl, drives sometimes he goes on the sidewalk. AMPS has no doors so that can also be really fun because feeling the wind and the freedom is great...even if it only goes 25 mph.

Jr. High

School isnt what kids want to do with their freetime and when they hear the word they just moan "Ugh". But ever since I started Jr.High, its been nonstop fun:) I am still close with all my old friends and ive made some great new ones! School is flying by so fast! With going to your locker in between periods and racing to not be late. Elementry school was pretty good but jr. high is awesome and i love it! Now im excited for the next chapter. Another year at my jr. high then high school :)

The rocky and rewarding path to Friendship

Everyone says "Friends are Forever", that is true. But nobody points out the fact that it isnt as easy as saying it. A real friendship consists of effort. You cant just go along if you want it to go somewhere. A friend of mine, Alexia, has been my friend since we were about 5. We met at ballet and we did not like eachother yet. Alexia and i just ignored eachother and that was that. I ended up joining her school about a year or so after we met in ballet. She walked up to me and said, "Hello!" She reconized me but i had no clue who she was. Long story short, is now she is one of the best friends ive ever had. But how did we become this way? By me replying "Hello" and by spending time with eachother. Some people say, if you never fight with your friend thats a true friendship. Yes it is good to not fight but it can also be unhealthy to not fight. Sure you might think im crazy for saying it but its true. When your fighting and debating about something, you get to know eachother more and also if you work it out you know your friendship will last longer because you have a good friend. It is hard to explain but it is healthy to fight, as long as it isnt every day. My friend, Jamie, is amazing just like Alexia. She rarly is mean and always looks on the bright side. She will give you the benifit of the doubt and after one day you will feel like its been 11. I am blessed to have many more friends that have been with me through it all. I love them all and i hope we will last longer. Friends Foreve! I didnt put the "R" because that would be the end of forever. Haha goodnight and thanks for reading! - A

The Twilight Sagas

I hope everyone by now has heard of Twilight. I love to write so you can imagine I love to read. That is true but I can't stand reading Twilight. I'm sorry but its just not a book I like and I can't get into it. But, the movies are amazing! Every second you are pulled in with your eyes glued to the screen. You heart pounds and you feel your palms get sweaty as you wonder what happens next. I am going to see The Eclipse soon with either friends or my mom. It comes out June 30Th and I would definintly suggest you to watch this movie. Also, try the book. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean you wont. I hope you enjoyed reading another entry about my life. Thanks!
